My son had an infected ingrown toenail. He’s 9 years old, autistic, non speaking, etc. The doctor and his assistant were great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and willing to work with us to get my son’s situation taken care of. This was not an easy task because my son is really big for his age and strong. Since my son was very nervous we had to hold him down for a few seconds so he wouldn’t move. We needed to keep everyone involved safe. We prepared a few days in advance by explaining what was probably going to happen during the procedure and we also watched a few videos (he found them fascinating up until it was his turn to get it done). He does not like surprises, he likes to be aware of what will happen during any procedure. Everything worked out in the end and my son is now in the healing process. My son was not traumatized by us holding him down, he was back to his usual happy self within a few minutes. He understood that this procedure needed to be done for him to feel better. The ingrown toenail was causing him a great deal of pain. We’re grateful for the patience and support we received.

This is our 3rd or 4th visit with Dr. Joshi. He has been so patient and kind with my daughter during procedures that neither of us our happy about! He has made these uncomfortable experiences much more tolerable for us.

The Doctor Who assisted me was excellent ,she provided great customer service. What I liked the most about her, she answered all my questions.The entire staff was friendly and the atmosphere was peaceful. I would highly recommend Dr. Mirkovic
